Lately Rachel has been complaining about wearing a seatbelt whenever we drive anywhere. The other day I finally snapped and said, "Rachel, if you DON'T wear a seatbelt the policeman will PULL ME OVER and we will GO TO JAIL!!"
Apparently that had quite an effect on her because this morning as we got in the car to go to the gym she said, "Mom, will you please buckle my seat belt...I don't want to go to jail."
Smart Girl.

That's funny! I think dramatics are perfect for this situation. I am totally going to use that the next time I hear seat belt complaints from my kids!
I've used that threat before too. It really does work.
HAHA! Alex hasn't tried that one yet but I'm sure it will come up one day. I will have to remember to use that line.
